My Beautiful Baby Boy
I can't tell who Baby Andrew is going to look like because he changes so much from day to day. I don't think he looks like Trevor, though. They favor, but they definitely look different. I think Andrew looks alot more like me when I was a baby than Trevor did. Of course, Joe's family thinks he looks just like him...we just laugh because your side of the family always thinks the baby looks just like you when you were a baby!

Meeting Felicia
I finally figured out the other night that this baby loves his little swaddler blanket. Trevor hated it, so I just figured that Andrew would too...wrong! This baby boy has been sleeping 4 hours at a time at night, which has really given me a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep. He is an angel, and I couldn't ask for a better natured baby. He's just snug as a bug in these pictures. And I think he is starting to like his paci better. He's constantly rooting and sucking, so the paci helps. He's even drinking 3 oz at each feeding now, so I know he's getting plenty to eat!

One Week Old Today!
Let me start by saying.... WE'RE OFF THE BILI BED....YAY!!!! His bili was 10.2 today, so Dr. Hardwick said him could come off that stinkin' tanning bed! He is back up to his birth weight 8lbs 1 oz, and looks great! I am so excited that we don't have to keep him naked anymore, and wear that ole' onsie that straps him down! Home health is coming out to draw a "rebound bili" in the morning, and hopefully taking that bed with them!!
I cannot believe this little angel has already been with us for a week. It seems like I should still be griping about being so miserable! And he was worth every ounce of pain, contractions, acne, fluid retention...you name it. I love this kiddo so much and I already can't imagine what it would be like without him. He is such a blessing, and I thank God more than once a day for choosing me to be his mommy. He is such a great baby (I hope I'm not speaking too soon...), he only whimpers when something is wrong. Otherwise, he's snoozing or just looking around the room. He follows Trevor alot with his eyes. Trevor's got alot to teach this little fella. Some things I hope he leaves out!
I have FINALLY caught up with my blogging! We got a laptop on Labor Day a) because my computer is a dinosaur, and b) I wanted to blog and keep everyone updated while I was in the hospital. Guess what? There are "some rooms" in L & D that don't have wireless internet....guess which one I was in? Oh well. I wouldn't have had the time anyway, I don't think. We are adjusting well to being at home. I got off to a rough start with an extreme amount of pain, but things have definitely gotten 100% better! I will now try to keep my blog updated every few days, so I don't have to play catch up like this!! Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.
