Trevor's Big Week!

Of course we have an eventful week on mommy's week to work. He's walking!! He can take about 10 steps at a time. I am in for it now! This morning when I dropped him off at Near and Dear, he tried to chase me out of the room. It broke my heart because he was crying and holding his arms out for me. It's always hard to leave him, but he makes it extra hard when he does that! He's also taking his sippy cup pretty much all the time now (except for night-time). AND....he got moved up to the "big-boy" class today. He's officially supposed to be in the infant room until he's one, but all they had in there today was itty-bitty babies. I suggested that he may do better with the toddlers, because it made me nervous with him being around the neonates! I could just see him banging one of them in the head with a toy or something. So he got to play with the big boys today. Maybe now we can work on getting some more toofies...being that he still only has 2!!Enough of my rambling....maybe some pics tomorrow since I'm off.

Mess Maker

Someone decided that they wanted to scatter cheerios all over the living room this morning!! He even got the dog involved in the fun!

Double-Trouble...

Hey brother, you think there's any more cheerios under here?
Yep! Found one!

My Boys...

Please excuse my aweful-looking living room. It's hard to keep it straight when you have an eleven month old AND a Jack Russell who insist on tearing the toys out! Jett is so good though. He knows exactly which toys are his, and he doesn't touch Trevor's.

Playin' with the Inchworm

I got him this inchworm for Christmas, and he is way too little to ride it. So, he just pushes it around the house. As for him walking, well, let's just say he's a little lazy....or stubborn one. The other night at my mother's, she swore that she saw him walking around the corner in the kitchen. And then today I was checking my email, and had my back turned to him. I didn't hear the usual "crawling" sound that he makes, so I turned around. That little terd was walking into the living room! I screamed, "Yay Sweetheart!"....AS SOON as he heard me, he fell down. I think he just doesn't want me to see him walking, because he knows I'll act a fool...you know, picture-taking, video-taking.... Oh well, maybe by his first birthday, he have it down pat!

Trevor and Brady Cole

I love the pictures of Brady trying to put his hat on Trevor. They are a handful, and are definitely going to be so much fun this summer on the beach. Trevor just hangs right in there with Brady...I guess he thinks he's the same age or something. We had a great time, and we can't wait to go back!

Bad to the Bone...

He Needs to Use This On Himself!!

Trevor found him a brush that he was playing with...he needed to use it on his hair. The longer it gets, the wilder it is!!

Trevor and Letson

Letson was crackin' me up. He carried this broom and dust pan everywhere with him...too cute. He and Trevor had a good time playing together. Letson needs to teach Trevor how to walk and give up those "ba ba's" (bottles). It's definitely going to be hard to get him to give those up. I'll give him a sippy cup, and he'll just bite it, throw it down, and start saying "ba, ba, ba". Oh well, we'll keep trying!

First Mardi Gras Parade!

While everyone else was enjoying their "first snow" here in Birmingham, we were in Malbis experiencing our first Mardi Gras Parade! I must admit, I thought it was going to be awful, because we didn't get off to a good start....as you can see in the pictures of him crying. But as soon as the band walked by playing music, he was all smiles and dancing!! It was soooo cold, and we almost froze, but it was fun!! We got lots of goodies and beads, beads, beads!!!

Gettin' Re-Aquainted

I absolutely love this picture. It looks like Trevor is saying, "hey man, teach me everything you know!"

It didn't take these babies long at all to figure each other out. Poor Trevor tried his best to keep up with Letson and Brady, and I think he did a pretty good job.

What is This Baby Doing in My House??

Brady Cole didn't know what to think of Trevor at first...he was pretty shy! It didn't take him long to warm up!

Bathin' in the Big Tub...

One highlight of the trip for Trevor was getting to bathe in that huge tub. He didn't know what to think! We also don't have a jetted tub in our home, so he was having himself a good time. That's a requirement for our next home, by the way, a big ole' garden tub!

Someone Found Some Stairs.....

The house that we stayed at in Gulf Shores has a huge flight of stairs...something that Trevor is not used to seeing, because we don't have stairs in our house. Of course, he found them right away, and went to climbin' on them. To my surprise, he knew exactly how to climb them...and very, very quickly!! He just didn't know how to get back down, after he'd gotten up there!

Shooooo Weeeee!

Someone tell me why kissing these stinky feet is one of my most favorite past-times! More updated pictures to come from our weekend at the beach....right now it is nearly 11:oopm, and yes, my child is still awake...and screaming!

Just A' Swingin'

These pictures are from week before last....sorry, it's catch-up time. It was so warm that day, we decided to go have a day at the park. He loved it!

The First Year....

Okay, I know I still have a month to go, but you have to remember, I work every other weekend. So, my time is limited. My next off weekend, I will be at the beach (yay!!), and then the next is the party. Basically, I've been working on this little project for a few months now. I just finished it up and I can't stand it...gotta share it now. This is just a collection of my favorite pictures of Trevor over the past year. I still haven't managed to watch it without crying. I'm just so very greatful to God for blessing me with this angel. Not a day (or night, rather) goes by without me thanking the Lord for him. He is truly amazing....

11 Months Old!

Can someone please tell me where the time has gone?! My baby boy is 11 months old today! These past 11 months have flown by. They have definitely been the best 11 months of my life. This little angel has changed my life so much. Words cannot describe the pure joy and love that I feel just looking at him. He is just growing up way too fast. He's almost walking now. He is now taking 2-3 steps at a time before falling, but he has to be in the mood. I'd rather him not walk for a while. Words he can say: MaMa, DaDa, PawPaw, NaNa (that's what he's been calling MiMi), Ba (ball), Duck, Kee kee (kitty, kitty). And the funniest thing is he barks at everything. He'll see Jett, and just start barking at him. Anything that remotely resembles a dog, gets barked at! I cannot believe in just one more month, he will be ONE YEAR OLD!!

Terrorizing the Kitchen

Look, Mom...I fit in here!
Gonna try again in a smaller drawer...
Nope, too big for this one!
I love the look on his face...right before the drawer almost smacked him in the face. It didn't though...he was quick!
I was trying to cook dinner, something that I rarely do. This little man was all over the place tonight. I'm glad I had my camera handy, because he decided that he was gonna go crazy, and climb all in the cabinets! That was a first for him, and I know it won't be a last...he looked like he was havin' too much fun!

Life is Hard...

It's so hard being a baby. All of that hard work at Walmart, helping Momma shop....

Silly Boy with his Silly Faces!

Sweet Face....
Mean Face!

Eatin' an Orange

This is one of his favorites. He always makes a funny face, I guess because it's sour, but he always wants more!

Just a Few More...

I was a really bad picture-taker this weekend! I promise, better pictures to come later in the week!

Busy, Busy Weekend!

These are just some snapshots of this weekend. Friday night, we went with my brothers and a few other friends to Workplay to watch the Zac Brown Band. It was pretty fun. We got to meet Erin, Davy's woman from Louisiana. She is really sweet. Maybe my crazy family didn't scare her half to death!! This was the first time Joe and I have "went out" since Trevor has been around, and to tell you the truth, I would rather have been at home, snuggled up with him! Saturday night, we went to Outback to eat....yummmmm!! This is Trevor's favorite!
