Pictures by Lyndsey Cunningham

We had the pleasure of getting Lyndsey to take the boys' pictures a couple of weeks ago. We went to Aldridge Gardens and had a blast. I didn't realize how neat that place is. We saw the fish swimming in the lake, we saw a snake....(uuuuggghhh), and a family of geese with their babies. It was a great day for pictures. Lyndsey did a fabulous job, as always!! I highly recommend her!!

My Big Boy

I can't believe how grown my baby boy looks in this picture. He's just moving right along, doing his own little thing, not studying this photo session at all. Can you tell why we have more pictures of Andrew?

Baby "Andry"!

As much as this precious angel smiles, you'd think you could get a picture of him smiling! He's so serious in all of his pictures. I think he's too busy studying the camera and everything else!! He's just my little "butter bean"....or should I say, "big butter bean!"

Wild Man...

So Stinkin' Sweet....

You really don't get much sweeter than this angel!

Happy Mother's Day!!

I just wanted to take the time to wish all of the Mother's out there a very Happy Mother's Day! This was my first Mother's Day as a mommy of 2, and I must say, every year gets better. I am so very thankful and blessed that God has allowed me to be a mommy. I think back to the days before I was a mother, and it's hard to imagine. My babies have blessed me in so many way! We had a very low-key day. We started off at church, then to eat at Joe's grandmother's, and then we ended up at the park to spend the rest of the day with my family. I hope all of you mommies had a wonderful day. Also, to my mother, who is not only my mother, but my friend...I love you! I am so grateful for you and all that you do for me and my family!

My Whole World...

revolves around these two little guys. Oh my, I cannot begin to explain how much I love them, or imagine what life would be without them!! My heart just melts looking at them. I thank God everyday for blessing me with these two, healthy babies, and allowing me to be their Mommy. Every day is an adventure, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Thank you to my beautiful babies for always bringing a smile to my face, just at the simple thought of you! I love you more than words can express!! Thank you for making my Mother's Day so special!!

Attempts at a Family Picture

I was bound and determined that I was going to get a picture with my boys today...uh, that never turns out the way you plan when you have small children. Oh well, I thought these were some good ones, anyway!

Daddy and Trev

It's unreal how much this little fella is starting to look just like his Daddy!

Love This Stinker!!

Don't let this sweet face fool you....this child is a handful and a half!! He is so full of it, and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way. He may look just like his Daddy, but his personality kinda resembles his Mommy's!!

Ohhh....Trevor!

This is actually a funny story. On Friday, my Daddy brought us some lunch, and as always, brought Trevor a "chocwat moo-shake"....or that's what he calls milk shakes. What remained of the moo shake, we put in the freezer for later, so after his nap, he wanted it. I gave it to him, and went about my business, trying to tidy up the kitchen. Not 5 minutes later, Trevor comes into the kitchen, and says with a big smile on his face, "MOMMY...Andrew wuvs dat chocwat!" I say, "What chocolate?"....Side note: that's just how fast I forget things these days....I did just give my 3 year old a chocolate milkshake, with my 7 month old in the floor....in the other room. I go into the living room, and there they were, enjoying the chocolate milkshake. I thought it was so funny, I couldn't even be mad. I had to take a picture of him shoveling the milkshake in Andrew's mouth with the straw. One thing I can say....at least he was sharing with brother!

Recovering Just Fine...

Trevor is doing great recovering from his little procedure. Believe it or not, I took these pictures the day after his surgery. Kids amaze me at how fast they bounce back from things. If it were me, I would still be laid up in the bed, whining about hurting (if I had the time)!! The last picture is of his "boo boo". It's where they put his IV in....he had to have a Cars bandaid to make it all better!

Working on Some Toofies....

Every time he gets a chance, this boy is putting something in his little mouth to gnaw on. No luck with getting any toofies, but he sure is working on them!

Update on Trevor...

As most of you know, Trevor had a little operation yesterday. He had to have a circumcision revision (something I really didn't feel like sharing with the world), but he is only 3 isn't he? He did much, much better than expected with all of the waiting before his surgery. We got to the hospital at 8:30, and he didn't go back for surgery until about 12:15, 12:30. Needless to say, he was just about to tear the room apart, until he got him some Versed. Within 10 minutes he was laid back and didn't give a care what was going on...and he quit saying "I'm hungry". He had not eaten anything since the night before.

When the little guy came and took him, he let me carry him half way to the OR, or to the "red line"....those of you who work with me know what I'm talking about....no one goes past the red line! Then he just went on with the tech....my son, willing went with a stranger...in scrubs! He was as high as a kite by then...and he just talked to that little guy as I watched them walk away. That's got to be one of the worst feelings, I don't care how minor the procedure is!

The surgery went great, he just had to be in recovery a little longer than I expected. One of my old ER buddies, Corey recovered him. She also used to be on our Critical Care Transport team, and I have seen her take care of some sick, sick babies...so I knew my baby was in good hands. She told me that when they took the breathing tube out, he started having stridor pretty bad, so he had to get a breathing treatment and some steroids. Then they brought him on to me, because he was getting pretty upset. I must admit, he did look aweful, and his breathing sounded horrible. He finally started waking up, and we did everything but stand him on his head to get his oxygen level up to 95% so that his nurse could document that, and we could get the heck out of there!

We finally got home about 4:30 yesterday evening. He is doing much, much better with the pain than I thought he would. I don't think his little body agrees with pain meds, but he seems to be doing great without them. He is doing great today....haven't heard one complaint, and that's pretty unusual for my little ball of fire, Trevor. He is being so cuddly and loving today, and I am just eating it up. He's already told me about 20 times that he loves me.

We are so blessed and I thank GOD for that!!

My Boys...

Today we went to the McWane Center. It was so much fun! We haven't seen Daddy all week, because he's been having to work crazy hours, so it was a treat to have him come along with us...and not go fishing. We got a family membership, so I know where we'll be going on the days it rains!!

Trevor at McWane

There's Only So Many....

pictures you can take of a baby in his stroller at the McWane Center! Andrew was so good today. We were there for about 3 hours....and he never made a peep!

The Sweetest Man!

I fall in love everytime I look at those sweet brown eyes....he is the sweetest little man ever!

Miss Priss

Little Abby is getting so big. I haven't taken any pictures of her in forever. She has the prettiest blue eyes....just like her daddy. But I still think she looks like her momma....everyone says she looks like Davy, but I don't see it. She does have his baby blues, though!
