Animal Sounds
This is a video of Trevor doing his animal sounds, of course, while he eats. It's just a little game we like to play. I'll ask him what the animal says, and he'll do the sound that they make. Remember to pause the play list at the bottom of the page before watching!
Happy Boy!
He's always the happiest when he's eating....sounds like his momma! He is feeling much better today. I can tell a big difference since yesterday. We went to follow up with Dr. Hardwick yesterday, due to our ER visit Saturday. He still has a nasty cough, and you guessed it...ear infections. For the LOVE!!! I'm so glad we meet with an ENT specialist on August 4th to discuss tubes. He doesn't act as miserable this time, because Dr. Hardwick caught it early, and is treating it early. This time we only have 5 days of antibiotics....hooray!! Other than that, he's pretty much back to normal. We haven't done anything interesting this week, so that's why I haven't posted. We've been trying our best to stay indoors while he's getting over this cold. Lord knows he doesn't need to be in the 100 degree heat!

First Official ER Visit
Well, I had to break down and take Trevor to the ER last night, well actually this morning. He's had a cough for about a week that wasn't that bad. Last night about 8:30, he started coughing constantly and having stridor. He couldn't catch his breath, which is kinda scary when stridor's involved. I got him calmed down, and kept telling myself, let's just wait and see what happens. So the stridor went away, but he continued to cough like a maniac.
So, at 3:00 am, off to Children's we go. We started off with an albuterol neb to see if that would help with the coughing (mind you, he had already had 2 doses of benedryl, and 2 doses of tylenol with codiene for the coughing). Dr. Sorrentino also thought his cough sounded "croupy", so we did some steroids. After the albuterol, we let him calm down, and the stridor started back. Well, that bought him a chest x-ray, airway films, and a racemic epi neb. His chest x-ray looked great, and airway films were "narrowed", which is to be expected with croup.
After 2 breathing treatments, steroids, some x-rays, and 24 hours of no sleeping (what's new?) we are doing better, just exhausted. Thank you, thank you to Dr. Sorrentino, Dr. Monroe, Adam, Skip, and the rest of the ER staff for your help. I work with an amazing group of people! Thanks for getting us in and out, considering how crazy it was there.

Another Hot Day at Splash Beach
We went to the water park again today, and had so much fun. Trevor started out kinda clingy, so I didn't think we'd be there very long. He actually hung in there until about 2:30, which was a record for him. These are pictures of him when I got out my camera. I took my eyes off him just long enough to get out my camera, and this is what I found. He was already on the see-saw playing with some little girl!

Sweet Pictures with MiMi and PawPaw
Congrats Sarah and John Michael!
First Time on the Innertube!
Okay, I know he's kinda young for this, but keep in mind that we were being pulled by a pontune boat (not sure how to spell it). I mean, how fast can you really go? He lasted about 30 seconds and then started screaming! As soon as we got into the water, he was quiet. He just wanted in the water, that's all!
