Why Boys are Priceless...

This is what brings a smile to my face on a daily basis. Trevor can be such a handful, and most of the time, I could pinch his little head off. Then he goes and does something like this to make me laugh. He has become obsessed with his muscles lately...I don't know where he gets it from, because God knows no one in this family has big muscles...more like some flab!! Anyway, this is him "flexing" for the camera. I think it's so funny, because he's not even doing it right, but by golly, he thinks he's got some cannons!!

My Boys

As we were hanging out today, I realized that I haven't updated my blog in a while. So here are some pictures of my boys just hanging around the house.

2 Totally Different Children

Look in the background...Andrew's wondering what's wrong with him!

Little Angel...

My Stinker

Can you tell that my boys are totally different? You can probably tell from the pictures that Trevor is my hellian (wouldn't have him any other way, but he is a HANDFUL to say the least). Andrew just sits back and takes everything in. I know it's still early to compare them, but even as a baby, Trevor was a "loud-mouth"....hmmm, sounds like someone familiar, huh?

4 Month Check Up

I forgot to post about Andrew's 4 month check up that was last Thursday. Yes it was pretty brave to get shots the day before taking off on a 5 hour drive...but we made it! He was a little fussy Thursday night, but he doesn't sleep at night anyway, so there was no disturbance out of the ordinary there! He was a whopping 17lbs 10oz, and 27 inches long. He was in the 95th percentile for weight, and this visit, his height is off the charts. I have a tall man on my hands. He is such a sweetie, and barely cried with his shots....the nurse said he was tough! Dr. Hardwick said he looked great, and was impressed with him standing up (when you hold his waist or his hands, he just stands up). Trevor went with us, and I thought he would be a holy terror, but he was great. I am so blessed to have 2 perfect little boys and I thank the Lord for them everyday!

PS...Trevor goes to his big man 3 year old visit next month, so we'll see how good he is then...is he really almost 3? I think this birthday will be harder for me than his 1st...I'm not really sure why. I'm feeling pretty old!

We Survived!!

I took the boys down to Foley this weekend to spend the weekend with Rachel, Brady Cole, and Layla Rae....by myself. They did amazing in the car, and I was very surprised at little Andrew. I guess he will just be a little traveler, unlike big brother at that age! He didn't make a peep the whole way down, until we got to Bay Minette. Trevor was awesome, and his DVD player even broke on the way down. He just sat back, listened to the music, and didn't say a word.

We had a great time, but it was raining the whole time we were down there, so the boys were kinda starting to get stir crazy. It would've been different if they would've been able to go out and get some of their energy out!! The babies were fabulous...we were both blessed with great babies...except for the fact that mine doesn't like to sleep at night! I think it's a boy thing. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Snap Shots from Kangarooz

Saturday, we were bound and determined to get the kids out of the house, so we took them to a jumpy place called Kangarooz. It was really neat, and would've been alot more fun if Trevor would've jumped and Brady Cole wouldn't have hurt his finger!! Oh well, we had a good time anyway. Andrew had a good time dancing to the loud music, I wish I would have gotten a picture of him grinning ear to ear while I was dancing with him!

Pictures with the Boys

Trevor hates pictures, as you can see, and Andrew could care less!

Sweet Angels

Talking to Mommy

This little man has really discovered that he has a voice over the last few weeks. He is definitely my child. I thought that he would be a quiet baby, because he hardly fusses at all. But now he talks my ears off...but I love it, and it melts my heart every time!

Sweet Babies at the Firestation

Driving a fire engine for the first time!

Baby Andrew and Layla Rae just laid back and took it all in...they have some wild, wild brothers!

Visiting the Fire Station

Friday night, we went to visit Mr. Buger at the Orange Beach firestation. He and the other firemen were so sweet with Trevor. He's really timid around strangers (yes, he is related to me), so I was surprised that he did so well. he and Brady Cole had a great time climbing around the fire truck and playing with their glove balloons!

4 Months Old...

Hi, Mommy!
It wasn't me...I swear!

My Heart

Okay, so this little man is growing up entirely too quickly for my comfort. I feel like he should still be a few weeks old. He is 4 months old today! Wow, where has the time gone? He is also sick, as you might have guessed from looking at the pictures. He's just had a nasty little cough and the snots for the past couple of days. Believe it or not, he doesn't have an appetite at all...I know it doesn't appear that way.
He is now in 9 months clothing...yes, 9 months. I had to take back a ton of clothes that I gave him for Christmas and swap them for 9 month stuff, because the 6 month clothes cut him in half, and the pants came up to his ankles!! He's not just chubby, he's long. And he's not near as chunky in person as he seems in pictures. We all know that the camera adds pounds to ya!
He is rolling over occasionally, with the first time being Christmas Eve. I think he has to be in the mood, though, because he doesn't do it that often...I guess it takes to much energy to roll his big self over! He is also cooing and smiling all of the time! He is such a joy to be around. So far he is still an angel, other than not sleeping. God did not bless me with children that like to sleep...but he has, however, blessed me with so much more than I feel like I deserve! I am so very grateful to have happy, healthy boys!!

Cat and Andrew

Sweet Babies!

Layla Rae!

Miss Layla Rae and her mommy came to see us on Friday, and we really enjoyed their visit. We might have to take Rachel up on her invite down to Foley next weekend. It was so good to see them, but we didn't get to sit and visit long enough!! I love the pictures of them. Layla was trying to get away, and Andrew was just laid back, not getting too excited about anything!

My Big Boy!

Who do you think put the dinosaurs in Baby Andry's reach? You guessed it...his big brother, Trevor. I love lazy mornings like this, when we just lay around, no where to go, no hurry, just me and the boys, in our PJs, being lazy. My favorite thing to do, because it's not very often we get to! Mondays are our lazy days, because I have to be at work at 3am on Tuesdays....so we don't get out much on Mondays!

Lovin' his Tag

My parents got Trevor the Tag reading system for Christmas, and he loves it....almost as much as dinosaurs! I love coming into the room, and seeing him "read"...he thinks he is such a big boy, and he is so smart. I am so blessed to be his Mommy!
