Meeting Allison and Trying Out His Swing

Andrew got to meet our friend, Allison, last night. We were so glad to have her over, and she was so sweet and brought us dinner! We definitely have to get Mr. Trevor and Mr. Dylan together and let them play! Thanks again, Allison!

My Beautiful Baby Boy

I can't tell who Baby Andrew is going to look like because he changes so much from day to day. I don't think he looks like Trevor, though. They favor, but they definitely look different. I think Andrew looks alot more like me when I was a baby than Trevor did. Of course, Joe's family thinks he looks just like him...we just laugh because your side of the family always thinks the baby looks just like you when you were a baby!

Snoozin' the Day Away

Precious Little Piggies

This boy has got some feet on him. He can't even wear most of his newborn onesies anymore, because his lil' feet are too long, and his toes bunch up in them!

My Sweet Baby Boys

It just doesn't get much better than this!

Roll Tide Baby!

Andrew had on his Alabame get-up today. His Alabama onsie was too big for him, so we had to settle for the bib that's as big as he is! I thought he looked so cute!

Meeting Felicia

Felicia keeps Trevor when I work, and will be keeping both of the boys in November when I go back to work. She came by today to meet Mr. Andrew and get aquainted with him. Of course he slept the entire time she was here, but hey, that's what newborns do and I'm not complaining one bit!

I finally figured out the other night that this baby loves his little swaddler blanket. Trevor hated it, so I just figured that Andrew would too...wrong! This baby boy has been sleeping 4 hours at a time at night, which has really given me a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep. He is an angel, and I couldn't ask for a better natured baby. He's just snug as a bug in these pictures. And I think he is starting to like his paci better. He's constantly rooting and sucking, so the paci helps. He's even drinking 3 oz at each feeding now, so I know he's getting plenty to eat!

My Little Man

This was last night. My little man went with Will, Caroline, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jayson to the Vestavia football game, and then he spent the night with them. He is growing up too fast, and he looks so much older in these pictures.

One Week Old Today!

Let me start by saying.... WE'RE OFF THE BILI BED....YAY!!!! His bili was 10.2 today, so Dr. Hardwick said him could come off that stinkin' tanning bed! He is back up to his birth weight 8lbs 1 oz, and looks great! I am so excited that we don't have to keep him naked anymore, and wear that ole' onsie that straps him down! Home health is coming out to draw a "rebound bili" in the morning, and hopefully taking that bed with them!!

I cannot believe this little angel has already been with us for a week. It seems like I should still be griping about being so miserable! And he was worth every ounce of pain, contractions, acne, fluid retention...you name it. I love this kiddo so much and I already can't imagine what it would be like without him. He is such a blessing, and I thank God more than once a day for choosing me to be his mommy. He is such a great baby (I hope I'm not speaking too soon...), he only whimpers when something is wrong. Otherwise, he's snoozing or just looking around the room. He follows Trevor alot with his eyes. Trevor's got alot to teach this little fella. Some things I hope he leaves out!
I have FINALLY caught up with my blogging! We got a laptop on Labor Day a) because my computer is a dinosaur, and b) I wanted to blog and keep everyone updated while I was in the hospital. Guess what? There are "some rooms" in L & D that don't have wireless internet....guess which one I was in? Oh well. I wouldn't have had the time anyway, I don't think. We are adjusting well to being at home. I got off to a rough start with an extreme amount of pain, but things have definitely gotten 100% better! I will now try to keep my blog updated every few days, so I don't have to play catch up like this!! Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

Visiting with Aunt Margaret and Uncle Jimmy

My aunt and uncle came to visit this morning. They live an hour away, so I hardly ever see them. Trevor had a great time playing with Uncle Jimmy, and actually wanted to leave with him. He kept saying, "I go home with you, Uncle Jimmy!"

And He's Out....

You know this boy is out when those arms fly up...his brother used to do the same thing!

Those Fingers Must Taste Good!

This baby will suck on anything when he's hungry....except his pacifier. He's not a big fan, which is good, just another habit to break! I heard him sucking the other day, and he had already given his forearm a hicky!

So Sweet....

Here Trevor is watching over little brother like a hawk. When the home health nurse comes out, he tells her, "don't touch him!", "don't hurt him!". I hope it stays this way!

Playing Dinosaurs

Andrew and Dinosaur
Dinosaur was giving Andrew sugars

I snuck up on Trevor last night to find this. He is so amazed with Andrew, I just laugh every time I hear him talking to him!

Holding Baby Andrew

So Excited!

Catherine was so excited to finally get to hold baby Andrew. She had the flu last week, so they had to make sure everything was out of her system before she held the baby. She was so cute with him, and I know she's going to be a big help with her baby sister when she arrives in December.

More Pictures...Proud Big Brother!

I love my sweet babies so very much!

Andrew's "Tanning Bed"

This has been Andrew's home for the past 3 days. I absolutely hate it. He has to stay on it constantly, except for feedings, baths, and diaper changes....and he can only stay out 30 minutes at a time!
