Beach Trip 2008

This year was by far the craziest beach trip. Something about being at the beach with all of your friends makes you feel like a teenager again. Can I just say that I CANNOT hang any more. That's why it's taken me 5 days to put my pictures on here. I've been recooperating. I'm sure most of you have looked through the other blogs and heard the stories. Wow, that first day, Miranda and I thought for a moment that we were on the dance team again, and we were doing all of our turns and leaps. And I decided to start trying out my old cheerleading jumps...hurkies, toe-touches...you know. Well, my thighs still hurt, so that's what I get for acting a fool. Oh well, it was just us on the beach. At least I was able to hold back from trying to tumble again. That's where I drew the line. No post-child back handsprings for me. That would've really been ugly, and probably would've landed me a trip to the ER down there!

The Waves were HUGE!!

I have never seen the ocean this rough....thanks to Ike! Needless to say, no swimming for us this year.

Tricia - This One's for You!

Is that Willie Nelson Australian sun-bathing? This guy was right in front of my chair doing this, I just couldn't resist taking a picture of him. And he stayed there for a while. I really think he was Australian sun-bathing!!

Good Times on the Beach

Sexy mama Laura!
Hey, has anyone seen Kelley's towel? The wind was blowing so hard, every time she would get up, it would be covered in sand!

Meet Snickers

This is our 2lb friend (Sarah's dog) that joined us on our trip. He was so perfect, he never made a sound. He even has his on pack and play. I had to get a picture of him.

Stay Tuned....

This is the bad part about taking SO many pictures, is that it takes forever to blog them. My time is also limited, because I have a nineteen month old yelling at me. I don't know what it is, but he knows when I'm trying to put pictures on here, because he'll come and say, "MOMMA, MOMMA" and grab my hand and start pulling me. Speaking of him, here he comes again. I've told him we're about to go to Paw Paw's about 15 times, so I better take him before he has a come-apart. I'll try to blog the rest of the beach pictures tonight or tomorrow!

Day 2 Beach Pics

Dinner at Pineapple Willy's

Saturday night we went to eat at Pinapple Willy's A)because it's only a few doors down, and B) they were playing the Alabama game. We got lots of funny looks and stares throughout the game. Well, come to think of it we were a little bit on the obnoxious side! Oh well, that's what sitting out on the beach all day and having "quanzas" will do to you!

Random Shots

Fun Times

Everyone that sat around us thought we were a bunch of idiots I'm sure! One girl that took a group shot of us asked me if we were in a sorority...is that how you spell it? If you know me, then you know I am the furtherest thing from a sorority girl as you can get. I just DIED laughing, and said "Do we LOOK like we're in a sorority?"!

Crazy Girls!

Yes, we were "those girls"! We piled in Michelle's 4-Runner after we left Pineapple Willy's. Yep, Sarah and I are in the "penalty box". It was okay though...we only stayed about 5-6 hotels down.

Day 3 - Bye Beach!!

....Until next year!! I took these from our balcony just before we left. Talk about some beach erosion....there's almost no beach left.

Happy 19 Months Silly Boy!

I cannot believe my baby is 19 months old today. Why do they have to grow up so fast? He is such a character, Joe and I are constantly laughing at him. He says EVERYTHING these days, except around strangers...he's terrified of strangers. He also REPEATS everything here lately. For instance, the other night I was bathing him, and I needed Joe to hand me a towel, so I started yelling "Joe"....then Trevor started yelling..."DOE". It was hilarious. He also says cute little phrases like "Momma, ho me" (hold me), I dot it (I got it)...and the best for last...."I poo" as he's grabbing his diaper, and usually, there's a prize in that diaper for me. He says alot more, but those are his usual's. I bought him a little potty not too long ago from Walmart, but of course he's not interested in it. Also, the flippin thing is too small for his butt. It should've had a warning on it...."Not for chunky butts". I mean, even if he wanted to use it, I thinks it's too small. He's more interested in the big potty, anyway, and what you're doing on it.

Wrestling Match...Trevor vs Cat

These kiddos are so silly. I didn't even know these pics were on my camera. Apparently my mother took them on my last week to work! I love em!

Chuck E. Cheese

I took Trevor to Chuck E. Cheese's to meet Hunter, Kelley, and Kim last week. I'm just now getting around to posting these pictures. They had a good time. Trevor wasn't too sure about the rides...I think eating was his favorite part!

Beach Trip 2006

Beach Trip 2005

This was my first trip to the beach with the Children's ER crew. It was so much fun, but it seems to get more fun every year. Or maybe I'm just getting older, and it's the only weekend out of the year that I have an excuse to act like a fool!

Such a Slacker...

I feel that way in many aspects of my life at the moment. Man, where does the time go? I have been off all week, and have managed to get NOTHING done. I don't know why I feel so run down all of the time. Oh wait, could it be the fact that I haven't slept through the night in almost 12 months? That might have something to do with it.

So, I haven't post since Trev got his tubes....I'm not sold on them at all. Guess what, we already have an ear infection!! Whoo-hooo! I knew when we got them that he would still get ear infections, no doubt, he has the worst ears ever. Poor little guy, at the moment, he has goop draining out of his left ear. Better out than in, I guess! I actually think that tube might be partially blocked, because I can't seem to get his drops to go down into the canal. We go tomorrow for a follow up and a hearing test. I am super excited to see how bad he behaves this time. At least his daddy will be there too, so maybe he'll act better this time.

ONE WEEK....and I'm headed down to PCB for the weekend with some of my friends from work. Talk about a great time....we go this time every year, and every year it gets better. I am so very excited!! That is, if it's not getting hit by one of the many hurricanes/tropical storms brewing out there...Hannah, Ike.....Josephine....what's up with all the storms!?!
